Are Right Size Smoothies Right for YOU?

Henry‘s Rating: 3.0 / 5.0

Who doesn’t want an easy way to start your day with a healthy breakfast? I know I’ve been on the hunt for a quick and easy, yet healthy, breakfast so I can get on with my long day of investigations. I also don’t want that breakfast to add to my mid-section and go back to being a pudgy pup!

In fact, did you know that people who EAT breakfast stand a greater chance of either losing weight or maintaining a healthy body weight? Keep reading… I’ll tell ya’ why!

When I heard about these smoothies… I had to sniff it out!

Have I finally found THE perfect weight loss breakfast solution?

The Claim

The Real Deal

Fills you up

Pretty darn satisfying!

Curbs your appetite

I definitely didn’t have the urge to grab any mid-morning donuts or pig out at lunch on burgers!

Meets your nutritional needs

It’s a great start to the day, but remember… you don’t get all your nutrients for the day in one meal. You still need to eat other meals and snacks to get ALL of your nutrients. Need to know more? Read to the end…

Reduces calories… all at once!

To me, this is the major calorie reduction: Rather than messing around with counting the calories in the cereal, the milk, the side of fruit, the toast… etc., you have an easy way of knowing exactly how many calories you’re consuming.

Appemine switches on fat-burning and turns off appetite AND it’s safer than the alternatives (strong, prescription drugs with similar compounds… Meridia, Redux, Apidex & Phen-Fen)

Hey! I’m all for avoiding prescription drugs!

Only one minor critique… A little pricey and if I were a little more clever and ambitious in the morning, I’d make my own smoothie. Of course.

So, Right Size Smoothies are RIGHT for this hound, but what about YOU?

Right Size Smoothies are doing the trick for me, but what about you? Like I said, they are a bit pricey… certainly more than a bowl of cereal in the morning, but then, most cereals fall way short when it comes to offering your body the nutrients it needs. Still, if you are committed to making a healthy breakfast in the morning ALREADY, then you probably don’t need to buy Right Size Smoothies.

However, the majority of us end up skipping breakfast or scarffing down something junky (like pastries or sausage biscuits). You know what the latter does to your midsection, but did you know that skipping breakfast is just as bad??

Yup… skipping breakfast makes you gain weight because it lowers your metabolism AND it may lead to pigging out at lunchtime OR gorging yourself at dinner time. The longer you wait to eat, the slower your metabolism becomes (thus slowing fat burning and increasing fat storage) and the hungrier you get!

So, if you fall into the normal category of “too busy for breakfast,” Right Size Smoothies may be the solution for you! Unless of course you hate smoothies… or you can’t afford it…

Great download! I am a real skeptic – especially with downloads, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by your write-up. It makes sense! A friend recommended Sensa and after reading your site, I am (once again) too skeptical to try.”

Thanks again,

  1. Great public service you are doing here. There is no magic bullet for weight loss. Getting off the caffeine sugar carb processed food train can be a challenge for many as well as portion control and increasing physical activity, but it can be done. Cravings can be caused by malnutrition and not processing your food well. Before starting a weightloss program get complete blood work and an A1c. Have your hormone levels checked by checking the Thyroid, the pituitary and the adrenal through blood work. Also be checked for food allegies. Get a good disolvable in water multi vitamin and sublingual b complex. Also get some CoQ 10 to protect your heart etc. 100mg a day is a good start. Eat regular meals especially breakfast. Stick to foods in their natural state that are not processed. Make sure you have protein in every meal and include colorful vegetables. Limit fruits to low sugar ones for a while like berries of any kind, apples and cantelopes. A banana a day and a apple a day is ok. It takes about 3 weeks to break the initial processed foods addiction. But if you eat regular, use fruit and veges as in between snacks with a little protein like a boiled egg you’ll be alright. Drink water, decaf tea sweetened with stevia or nat decaf coffee to transition from caf and sugared soda’s. organic low salt vege juices are ok too. Regular activity can be worked in like mall walks, taking stairs, parking farther away from stores, house work, gardening, playing with kids, dancing, and later when you are more fit regular simple exercises 20 minutes in the morn, 20 in the evening everyday. It is a way of life but you will see in time weight loss and an improvement in how you feel and will stick with it.

    • I have been drinking the right sized smoothies for the past week. I am a sceptic when it comes to diets and such things. This however, has worked for me so far. I have lost 8 lbs in one week. I use several ice cubes to bulk up the smoothie so it is more filling. I have replaced 2 meals with the smoothie and eat 1 regular meal. I also snack on carrots, have a small salad or something throughout the day just to fill in the gaps. Water works great too. I do recommend this product.

      • Joanna I’m glad it has worked for you thus far. re you still sticking with it? Don’t get me wrong because I’ve never tried it, but to me replacing 2 meals with shakes and eating healthy fruits and veggies along with drinking water sounds like anyone would loose weight. What is it about the right size shakes that help you to loose the weight that a change of habits don’t do? Only asking, like I said I haven’t tried them, thought about it, but never purchased them. I’ve been making my own. Do they come already mixed, like a slim fast where you just shake, open and drink?

  2. Thanks for review, I am exited about trying these shakes. I never have time for breakfast. My friend says they are really good and I am glad to see you have not found anything negative. I am a huge fan and trust your judgment

      • Beverly you can purchase it at a local grocery store and fix it too your tasted buds, I was skepitcal at first but after mising it with juice and a banana its great! you can mix it with yogart too

  3. Dear Henry
I am so happy I found your site. Your info is easy to read and understand and best of all very honest. Thank you so much for all the work you do. You must be a awesome trainer.

  4. I make my own: rice milk, whey protein powder, flax seed powder, tomato paste, yogurt, a banana, daily senior multi-vitamin, fish oil capsule, blueberries, grapes, cinnamon. Put them into the blender for 1.5 minutes and pour!!!

    • Hey Charlie- Just wondering what the tomato paste is for, and what does it do for the system? I’m only asking. I think it’s cool that you make your own and didn’t know if the tomato paste was like for a veggie friut flavor (kinda V8) or if the paste has a different purpose like the fish oil for the omega 3. TIA–Ricky

  5. A scam. They send you two canisters for your “Free trial” but if you open both they charge you the full amount – more than $100!!
Glad I stopped after one canister, b ut I did open the second one and now they expect me to pay for all of it. THAT IS NOT A FREE TRIAL. Why do they even send you two canisters if they hit you will a full charge if you use them both!! STAY AWAY!!

  6. I purchased a case of right size smoothies based on the reviews that I found on this website. They are rather expensive but they do taste good and they do curb hunger cravings. BUT what I didn’t know is that one
8 oz serving contains 50mg of caffine. That is as much as Mt Dew.
I get severe migraines from drinking anything with caffine. Most healthy diets do not include beverages containing caffine.
Had I known in advance that this product contained so much caffine I would NEVER have purchased it. Beware any body thinking about ordering the premixed smoothies that they have a very high content of caffine.

  7. I have been using Right Size Smoothies for 11 days now. I lost 5 lbs my first week. I am only drinking one for breakfast as of now. It consists of 8 oz OJ, 3 packets of splenda(which contain 1g of fiber each)1 cup of frozen bananas and strawberries (to give it a smoothie texture) 1/2 cup of fat free vanilla yogurt and one scoop of Right Size. It does a great job of supressing my appetite until lunch. I eat a healty lunch and dinner as well as a healthy mid afternoon snack. I found the mix at my local Albertsons store. It was $29.99 for a container that has 20 servings. Which is equal to $1.50 per smoothie-Less or equal to your avg breakfast. I am pleased with the smoothie drinks and I recommend them as well.

    • Thanks Julie. I appreciate the shopping info. I can do that! I prefer hands on over online anyday. this way you can read it and actually decide if it’s right for you over having to return an unwanted item do to lack of product satisfication. Thanks again.

  8. I thank you for the comments, I am a sceptic also every diet i try never works. This is my third day with the smootie so for my craving has curve , I like to snack through the day, so for it’s working.

  9. Okay, so I called the phone number I heard on the radio to get the free trial offer. I love the product, so far, it is curbing my appetite and I get some nutrients that I need. I eat a balanced meal for dinner.

My complaint is the “free” trial actually costs allot more than just getting the product. The smoothies are only $54.80, but with the “free” trial you have to pay $18.80 upfront for the Privilege of trying it and then $5.10 per container MORE than it actually costs. I called customer service, they said, too bad, that’s the price for the HONOR of trying it free. RIP OFF!!! do yourself a favor, just go online and order it, don’t fall for the free trial offer.

  10. I so appreciate your website with clear, easy to understand reviews. I have always wanted to try the smoothie but had heard about the scam of the free deal. I found them at CVS for $34. Pricey but, if it works, it’s all good. I feel alot more confident that I made the right choice. So far, 3 days and it seems to be working for hunger and satisfaction. And.. it tastes great unlike some shakes that taste like ground up vitamins!

  11. This stuff is terrible, and the marketing is a scam. I agreed to pay $39 for a few extra things along with my “free trial” and they charged me $119 (which they had never told me about) and then kept sending more with $49 taken out of my checking account. So I sent back several containers “refused” and they refunded only $39 to my account. I did not agree to pay more than $39 in the first place. And it tastes bad. I only tried it once; couldn’t bring myself to make a second cup. And it’s filled with sugars, fructose, chemicals. If I can’t get my money back, I guess I’ll try to force it down in place of a few meals, but I do feel scammed and it does taste horrible.

  12. Thank you so much for all the research you do. Im not really a breakfast person. If i do eat in the morning its a frappe and yogurt from starbucks, then i snack in class. I really want to try this product because i want to loose 40 lbs..but i may be 11 weeks it safe to try???

  13. Thanks for your info and insights. Wish I would have found your site before I ordered the “Free trial”!! However it sounds as if the product may still be benficial; I’ll give it a try.
Wondering if anyone who is a diabetic has tried it and how it affected their blood sugars.

    • I am a diabetic and I haven’t had a bad reaction with my blood sugar. I have been using the smoothie for 2 months and have lost 16lbs. I replace 2 meals per day with a smoothie and eating fruit for my snacks. If I get hungry I will grab a handful of peanuts or raisins.

  14. Hello Folks!

I heard the radio ads and ordered them a week or so ago. I blended my first smoothie (more like a chocolate shake) this morning finished before I wrote this and I can say it tasted very good. I chose to order all chocolate. I plan to eat 1 healthy meal for lunch lean meat and salad, then have 1 shake for breakfast and 1 for dinner. I also plan to drink a lot more water to replace my constant intake of coke zero 🙁
I really hope this helps me get back on track of getting my wait under control and changing to a healthy lifestyle which of course includes going to the gym 3 times a week.
I’ll check back weekly to post my progress.

  15. Got the vanilla at CVS due to an aquaintenance’s recommendation. Stated she lost 20lbs in a month. I mixed a scoop with skim milk and 2 cups of blueberries and some ice. Tastes HORRIBLE! It tastes like vanilla chalk with a vitamin-like aftertaste. I literally gagged, but choked it down. The caffeine is way too much for me (I never drink coffee or sodas). I’m going to keep trying though. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to mix it with?

    • Hi Candy I mixed my vanilla with half of a banana and pomogrante juice it taste great! dont give up if you use the milk add a banana and other fruit you might like and blend it well

  16. I love your web report , it will teach me to read before I buy, I bought sensa , and it did not come close of working, but I did get a full refund, I was thinking about another, but after reading your report. No freggin way, thanks love the web report

  17. I tried Rite Size Smoothies – but purchased from CVS and am fairly happy. It is not a miricle diet, but it has helped me reduce my weight by 20lbs. I like the vanilla but hated the Cuppacino or whatever they called it. I am a coffee lover and still did not like it. It does help me be less hungry and I combined that with exercize to get my results. It will help you if you are ready. I replaced this with my breakfast and added in some exercize. I have just been doing it once a day. If you did it at Breakfast and Lunch you may get better results but I have not tried this yet. I just eat a light lunch.

Do not do the phone sign-up.. they put you on an auto mailing list where you automatically get sent the product. CVS and other pharmacies cary it for less than $30.

  18. Thanks for the great info! I heard about these Right Size smoothies on the radio and after doing a little research found that the ‘free’ trial had been a real hassle for a lot of folks, so I just purchased a couple canisters on CVS for $26.99 each. Just got them yesterday and tried the coco bean this morning…am very pleasantly surprised at how filling it was!! In my opinion it tasted just okay…not terrible, not delicious, but definitely do-able. I just mixed the powder with 8 oz of skim milk and drank it down. I’m sensitive to caffeine, but it’s been 4 hours now and I feel fine. Am also sensitive to cinnamon (I get a splochy rash and hives sometimes), but haven’t had any negative reaction to that yet either. After 4 hours I’m just now starting to get hungry, so that’s pretty great. So far, I’m liking it.

Just an extra thought…for all of those that are using 2 smoothies a day and eating 1 meal just make sure that you’re snacking and eating enough calories throughout the day. These smoothies only have 110 calories, and even mixed with milk and fruit they won’t have more than 200-250. If your having very small amounts of calories you’ll loose weight quickly but your metabolism will get used to only eating very little…then when you stop using the smoothies and go back to eating regularly you’ll gain weight back. Just speaking from experience. Everything in moderation. Keep it healthy!

    • Very good points! I am always telling people they’ve got to eat snacks/five small meals a day to keep that metabolism up!

  19. If you’re pregnant you need to keep your daily caffeine intake to less than 300 mg per day. One smoothie has 50 mg. Other than that, I can’t see why it would be a problem. In fact, the galangal would probably help as much as ginger for morning sickness if you can drink the smoothie, that is.

I LOVE this product. I was very skeptical, but I’ve been using it a few days, and it really controls my appetite. I have a smoothie made with skim milk, the recommended 8 oz of water, and a 16 oz weak coffee with cream at 7:30, and I’m not hungry or craving anything until NOON! It’s awesome. Of course, as others have mentioned, it’s not a miracle solution; you have to listen to your body and NOT EAT when you aren’t hungry (out of stress, boredom, etc.). Let the Right Size do its job and learn to do something else to alleviate those things rather than munch. This product makes it much easier to get into those new habits because you are NOT HUNGRY! Woo hoo!! Best $35 (CVS) on a weight loss product I’ve ever spent. I only need to lose 10 lbs so I bet I won’t even need to buy another canister, and I plan to just keep up a reasonable diet afterwards of what my body needs to maintain my weight. Oh, and I walk 3 – 4 miles a day. You’ve GOT to move to do this right and for the long haul.

  20. does anyone know where I can purchse the berry right size smoothie without calling them or using their web site I only found the vanilla and chocolate…
