Don’t Buy a Weight Loss or Diet Product Until You Read This…

It just really bristles my fur to see the bad guys messing with people who just want to lose weight and feel better! They know that people like us (who have weight issues) are vulnerable, and they use that against us.

Because I have simply had enough, the “Pack” and I do some investigating so you don’t get ripped off.

Now some products do make it through the Hound filter, but most of them attain the dubious distinction of landing in the Health Hound’s Dog House!

Tinnitus Treatments

Ringing in your ears? Is it an annoyance or a painful, life-interrupting problem for you? Tinnitus affects more than 50 million Americans. Many people who have hearing loss also suffer from tinnitus. Nearly 12 million seek medical treatment and around 2 million cases of tinnitus are debilitating. The condition is caused by noise-related damage to the tiny cilia that line the inner ear. These little cilia can also be damaged by certain medications like aspirin.

When enough damage has occurred, hearing is impaired to some extent and the brain tries to make up for this loss by producing its own electrical sound signals. This is where the constant ringing, buzzing or hissing comes into play.

For some people, it’s just a minor problem and in some cases, like after a really loud rock concert, it’s temporary. After repeated exposure and damage, the problem can lead to hearing loss and ringing that can be very painful. Just ask Pete Townsend! He’s struggled with tinnitus for many years now. His tinnitus has threatened his career from time to time because when playing music, especially when drums are being played, the noise can cause him a great deal of pain!

Various vitamin deficiencies are also being found in people who experience hearing problems. Think about it. Why do some musicians end up with tinnitus and others do not? Sure, some were proactive and used appropriate earplugs to reduce the decibel level, but this isn’t always the case. And, even though aging is another reason behind a decline in hearing and the development of tinnitus, not all people lose their hearing as they get older.

Here’s an area where there should be quite a few natural remedies due to the fact that hearing loss is also caused by free radical damage to the cilia. Supplements, hearing protection, listening strategies and devices that offer background noise are all available as well as advice on dealing with tinnitus included in plenty of information products.

Again, some are good products, some are a waste of your time and hard-earned dollars. So, stick with me, your health hound, and I’ll sniff out the products and let you know when they wind up in the doghouse or if they deserve a 5-bone rating! I’ll use my 8-step investigation plan to let you know whom you can trust and who needs a good old-fashioned rolled up newspaper!

Lipo-Flavonoid

Lipo-Flavonoid is an herbal supplement designed to reduce ringing in the ears as a result of Meniere’s Disease (one of the many causes of tinnitus however it’s quite uncommon). One of the biggest problems with Lipo-Flavonoid is that it’s now marketed as a product to treat all forms of tinnitus which simply isn’t true.

Ring No More

Can you give me your review of Real Dose. It’s expensive but seems to work.

  2. Diana says:

Can you please review Purisalv a*k*a chia seeds? I keep reading up on it and see mixed results. Thank you! Your site has helped me avoid all these fakes deit supplements.

    • Henry says:

I’m not familiar with this brand, but chia seeds themselves are a very healthy addition to any diet. High in fiber and protein they can be added to anything you bake, or add them to smoothies, peanut butter (or almond butter), oatmeal, yogurt…and on and on. The possibilities are endless!

  3. tan says:

    17 day diet….thoughts?

  4. christina says:

Anyone tried the ‘it works’ body wraps? Does it really tighten up loose skin?

  5. Niki Brand says:

I think it is sad that their are so many diets, because only one works, a healthy balanced diet.
If you really want to lose weight you have to make the commitment to only buy and eat healthy food. Nothing else really works in the long term.
Throw out all your processed packaged food including bread, buy fresh fruit and veges, basmati rice, rice pasta, use olive oil and bran oil only and buy lean organic meat. Have a healthy organic muesli for breakfast or corn flakes or porridge, with yoghurt and reduced fat milk. Do not add any sugar. Yo can cut up a banana to go on top instead.
For lunch have a salad, you can have a little cheese, and ham, but don’t cover it in oily dressing and salad cream, have a small amount of these.
For aftrnoon tea have a cuppa and 2 biscuits only! Have fruit between meals. For Dinner have lean meat and veges, there are so many healthy dinners to choose from, just stay away from fried, batter, stodgy meals, have lots of healthy vegetables steamed, and gravy with a chicken fillet or steak, do not eat french fries with everything and bread and butter, these should become distant memories.
Now you have a healthy diet you will have the energy to start walking again, enjoying some hobbies, fishing, swimming, gardening. Get out there and make an effort to save yourself! Good luck, and make the commitment, cause there is no quick fix I’m afraid.

  6. Kathi says:

I am looking for some reliable reviews on the Brazil Butt Lift videos…also will this work out also tone the abdomen and the rest of the body?
    Thanks

  7. KAY says:

    ANY INFO ON CURVES?

  8. Kevin says:

Have you reviewed Bill Phillips Body for Life book/program?

  9. Karen says:

This is about an exercise video series called Brazil Butt Lift. I didn’t follow the extremely low-calorie diet that came with it (although it does include super healthy foods…just too little calories for me), but I definitely got MAJOR results. It REALLY works. :) LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Bum Bum.

  10. jill says:

Just a question. I love tea. I drink “black” teas daily 2-4 cups unsweetend, no lemon and unsweetend iced tea as well. I know Green Tea is the current rage. So I tried it but I really don’t think it is a flavorful as black tea. I have been using 1 bag of each when steeping my tea. Am I reaping the benefits or am I canceling them out?
Am also interested in Essiac tea. Any information would be appreciated.

    • Henry says:

Black tea does not have the same benefits of green tea, sorry! I have not looked into Essiac Tea, but will add it to my ever-growing list!

  11. Mimi says:

    Hey Henry,
Can you do a review on the Brazil buttlift workout by Leandro please. Thank you!!!

  12. rick leonello says:

Please check out low testosterone supplements and effectiveness

    • Henry says:

These are something that should be issued by a medical professional, as you must have blood tests done beforehand to actually check your testosterone levels. You should not self-diagnose those.

  13. Veronica says:

Hello, on your blue print food plan how many hours should be between meals?

  14. Nealy says:

Henry have you checked out Omega XL??? Apparently Terry Bradshaw endorses it, which he says is because he truly believes it works (since he obviously doesn’t need the money). I’ve seen a lot of scam blogs on it though so I’m wondering if it’s worth the high price. Thanks!

    • Henry says:

I will have to add it to my list! I think it’s important to note that it doesn’t matter who is the celebrity endorsing the product…people are paid a lot of money to say a lot of things they do not believe in…and most people don’t believe they ever have enough money.

  15. Gloria says:

Henry I have really enjoyed reading your report and just found it very similar to Jorge Cruise’s program “The Belly Fat Cure.” Do you think his program is good?
You pay $4 per week for online menus, tips, recipes and motivation. I am not sure of the extent of what you actually get but it sounds very similar.

  16. Janet says:

Henry, what do you think of the Glycemic Load Diet of Dr. Rob Thompson? Just got a flyer in the mail from Rodale Press about a new updated version of the book. It sounds scientifically correct as I know a little of the digestive processes in the body being a medical lab tech. Just wanted your thoughts before ordering the book. Thanks for your time.

  17. randy says:

is the food lovers weight loss plan legit or is there a plan out there that can help me loose the weight i need.

  18. Iris says:

Henry..I weigh 275lbs, deal high levels of stress from work & home. My blood pressure is very high and I’m miserable because the weight slows me down . there are so many weight loss programs,I’m CONFUSED! I have already made an appointment with Jazzercise..what good is that if i keep going on eating binges. My chest and legs are hurting and I’m afraid to have any weight loss surgeries. I believe i can do it but its hard without a support and someone talk too about this. Can you recommend a simple diet to assist me …..i don’t want to die!

  19. Fatma says:

i want to order the Gastric Bypass No Surgery formula for me & my 16 year old boy. does it have anyside effects? please reply to my email a.s.a.p

    • Coco31 says:

To fatma: I saw you asking about the gastric bypass no surgery formula and I wanted to tell you that my mother and I tried that for just 2 days and we both developed serious stomach problems from it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

  20. Lynn says:

What’s the scoop on this Roca Lab Weight Loss Program?

  21. Sue says:

What about Ally? I don’t know if I spelled it right but this is supposed to allow you to absorb only about half the fat of what you eat. FDA approved weight loss supplement.
    Thank you

  22. Brandi says:

I love reading your results from the hound pack on various weight loss magic tricks, so here are a couple more that I have recently read about and promoted by Dr. Oz, who I would like to believe is telling the truth. The first is African Mango seed extract, taking 150mg twice a day and the second is the sea buckthorn in liquid supplement or a pill. Thank you for your time.

  23. Ashley says:

Henry, what is your review of the “Food Lovers Diet”?

  24. mirian says:

Hello, My question is not abour a diet, but about a product I saw in an infomercial. It is called “tummy tuck belt”. It is an undergarment and it also promises to get rid of tummy fat. It costs $59.98. It sounds good, but it might be one of those wishful thinking products. Do you have any information on it? I was going to order it, but I’ll wait to hear your opinion. Thank you.

  25. Barb says:

Has anyone tried those tiny seeds called “chia seeds” that the Mayan runners used? They are recommended by Dr. Oz & others in alternative medicine. I started using them about 5 months ago & doing nothing different. I have a whole lot more energy & when I went to the primary doctor for my check-up, I had lost 5 lbs. in three months. Just sprinkle a teaspoon of the seeds on whatever you are eating three times a day. You could work up to a tablespoon 3 times a day – if it doesn’t make your bowels too loose. I had to go back down to a teaspoon a day but still feel great & loosing weight. I’m 77 & can now work circles around a 40 year old. Don’t take my word for it. Check it out on the Internet.

"Henry,

Great download! I am a real skeptic - especially with downloads, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by your write-up. It makes sense! A friend recommended Sensa and after reading your site, I am (once again) too skeptical to try."

Thanks again,
