    what is your opinion of Ideal Protein Diet? My daughter tried it and it worked very quickly and she lost about 15 pounds but she gained it back a year later. I have heard that they actually discourage exercising, which seems weird. Any thoughts, Henry??

    Hi, Henry
    I thought I would give you a update I am down a total of 30 lbs now. started 2/23/11 my A1C went from 8.5 to 6.0 my LDL went from 73 to 49 all my blood work came back great ! my doctor is so happy with the results and so am I. my doctor vists are now every six months not three because of this. soon I will be off all my medications . I am sure I would have lost more but I do take one meal a week and eat what I want and I think I do a sugar overload and my body tells me it doesn’t like it . so I am still learning as I go a long ! I am still exercising five days a week and lifting weights three days aweek. thanks again for your meal plan.

I am so glad that I found your site, due to the fact that I was getting ready to buy Sensa (I like Patti Stanger on the Millionaire matchmaker) and thought well, if it worked for her then surely it can work for me.:) Well after reading your reviews I decided not to try it and will focus more on taking better care of my self by eating better (I will try:) and exercising (ugh!) but I am going to try.     hello everyone. I am new to this website. I came upon this site to look up reviews for the Sensa product. When i read it i changed my mind on purchasing Sensa. I am a young female who is turning 21 in two months. I have had my chubby/ heavy body ever since i was a child. Jealous of all the woman out there that can slip into a baiting suit and nice dresses. I can’t. I am sorry on bringing drama to you all. haha. Guess i feel alone. Unemployed, can’t get into college,parents not talking to me and my weight. Well i guess it could be worst.     Thank you Health Hound for your informative site!! I found you by accident when researching Sensa. I didn’t buy it…thank you!! I will be visiting frequently to keep myself updated on various weight loss methods. I find that watching serving size, adding enough fiber to my meals, eating more vegies and fruit and exercise is the best way to lose weight for me. I am always looking for tips that can help me along my road to a healthy weight loss.

    Im currently looking for information about the correlation between insulin spikes and fat storage. I know it happens when you consume a huge meal simple carbs and sugar but they dont tell ever tell you about how many grams. Mostly Im concerned about the Prograde meal replacement shake. Im in and out of massages and I drink the shake throughout the day to help me feel full and I snack on nuts and fruit. Ive been trying to stay away from sandwiches and processed food. Could the shake be causing me to spike every time I drink it? I dont consume a load of calories so Im thinking its the fat storage issue. Love your site keep it up!
