It may lower cholesterol and balance not only blood sugar but hormones as well. Sounds great, right? Not so fast. You can’t cram alfalfa in a pill and receive any benefits because you have to use fresh, raw sprouts. So, forget the pill and put some alfalfa sprouts in your salad or on a sandwich!
