LeanSpa – Wow! Less than $2 for a Miracle??

by on November 30, 2010

Henry‘s Rating: 1.0 / 5.0

Boy oh Boy! LeanSpa has it all: acai berry, chromium, green tea, garcinia cambogia! All the latest and greatest in weight loss supplements. Finally, the miracle you’ve been seeking.

Of course, you knew there was a giant BUT coming up.

What’s the Problem with LeanSpa?

The Claims

The Real Deal (Purging Anyone?)

In a study (conducted by them), 17 people lost fat and gained muscle… Where do I begin… see below.
Acai Berry has tons of antioxidants. Yes, it does, but this doesn’t help you lose weight all on its own.
Green Tea helps boosts metabolism. Actually, yes. But how much is in LeanSpa?
Garcinia cambogia helps you lose weight. Umm… not proven.
5-HTP helps satisfy hunger by increasing serotonin levels. Serotonin is a pleasure hormone. It is not entirely responsible for satiety (feeling of fullness). Many, many reasons… what you eat, emotional reasons, low leptin levels (due to excess ab fat… keep reading)
Chromium helps increase HDL (good cholesterol) and decrease LDL (bad cholesterol) Chromium picolinate was shown to lower total cholesterol in humans, but had no significant effect on raising HDL.
Burn Fat! Lose Weight! How? The site is riddled with “combined with proper diet and exercise”… Okay, stop the press and read below…

Sexy Babes, Tape Measures and a Bunch of … REALLY?

So, the study. Sounds promising right? Burn fat and increase muscle. Read the fine print (from the website):

Graph depicts results from 3 individual study subjects out of 17 participants who completed the study. Other individual participant results varied. The study was an open label 60 day short term trial to assess safety and efficacy. LeanSpa continues to invest in research and is in the process of developing next phase research with a larger double blind placebo controlled trial.

17 people actually completed the study. What happened to the rest? Did the study participants follow any particular diet or exercise program? The site has fine print all over the place about “combined with proper diet and exercise.” So, tell me more LeanSpa because right now, I have no idea what these participants actually did.

I could pick apart the ingredients all day based on actual clinical studies, but here’s the bottom line. Regardless of what they might do or not do, there are no specifics on the amounts of each ingredient. If a product said “contains Vitamin C” but only had 1% of the daily requirements, would you still buy it?

It’s the same old, same old story… You can’t take a pill and healthfully lose weight without changing your dietary habits and exercising. Hey, LeanSpa (and other supplements like it) is nothing but a magic feather. Dumbo couldn’t hold the feather, never flap his ears and still fly, right? Same thing. You might lose weight with LeanSpa IF you followed the right diet and exercise program. But that’s the real trick, right?

I Don’t Have a Magic Feather, but I Can Get You Flying For Real! (and it’s FREE!!)…

If you really want to burn fat and gain muscle, you don’t need an expensive supplement. You need to know about the mistakes you are making now and how to stop making those same mistakes!

I have a 100% free report I’ve put together that teaches you several proven methods to burn fat and gain muscle. So many people are shocked when they find out how some simple changes can really change their ability to burn fat! It’s just not as tough as it sounds…

Great download! I am a real skeptic – especially with downloads, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by your write-up. It makes sense! A friend recommended Sensa and after reading your site, I am (once again) too skeptical to try.”

Hello, Well,a friend had told me awhile back. If,I ever orderd anything that you only pay the shipping,to get one of those credit cards that you add money to...and only have enough on the card to pay the s/h charges.Thank God,I learned long ago,is to NEVER order anything that says it's free except the s/h..I cannot beleive that companies are aloud to scam people like that.I hope that they get what they deserve(A BIG FINE)!!!!What a shame to all that got taken.

Thanks, Henry. If you run across anything for those of us with hypothyroidism who are trying hard to get rid of belly flat, please let us know. Dr. Arem's book, The Thyroid Solution, is good overall, but if there's something working for others, I'd like to know. I'm 73, exercise, and eat pretty sensibly, like a good pack member, but although the weight is normal, the belly fat is still there.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! I not only have called them on many occasions after receiving an RMA number and returning the product with a USPS signature confirmation WITH NO RESULTS OF A REFUND, but I also sent an email to Channel 7 (New York City) called "7 On Your Side", explaining the problem I now have faced. I am hoping to at least hear from Channel 7 for a fomal investigation against this company. Will keep you posted!

I too fell for the LeanSpa Scam. I emailed only to receive a ticket number and that a representative will get back to me soon. No one has yet to send me a RMA# on my request to send all unopened packages back. In every email I requested a Cancellation and to be refunded my money. No response. Today I checked my bank account to find they have clipped me again for $159.98. In total they owe me a total of $319.96. I will get my money back once I report this to my bank. My bank helped me years ago get a refund on a scam. I will do whatever it takes to get my money refunded. This all began in early April of this year and it ends today.

I ordered both the leanspa plus the colon cleanse and received a shipping notice for both. I received both products about 7 days later. I started taking them according to directions but discovered that something in one or both of the products cause an allergic reaction. I contacted the firm within the original 30 days from receipt of the product only to find out they'd shipped a second order, AND charged my card for $79.98 for each product. I made MANY attempts to request an RMA per their instructions, did not hear a word, or any acknowledgement of my request. I shipped the product back in the original packaging unopened, and took pictures, and have a signature confirmation that that product was received. I FINALLY received the RMA on the same day that Leanspa signed for the return products. I have made numberous attempts to contact the company and have not received ANY response. I am now out $150 for NOTHING because I shipped the product back. My bank says they' can't do anything because the company says they need an RMA number to ship the items back but I didn't receive an RMA until 10 days after my original request. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND A WORSE COMPANY> AMEN to WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!

I ordered the two leanspa trial products from a channel six news page. as reported: 4 Week HCA Diet: LeanSpa HCA + LeanSpa Cleanse ... I received shipping notice on the HCA and I received the HCA seven days later. I did not receive a shipping notice on the Cleanse and I have not yet received the Cleanse. My card was supposed to be charged $1.95 for the Cleanse and I was charged $3.95 for the Cleanse of which I have yet to receive. I put in a support ticket of which they closed with informing me that they were piled up with tickets and so they closed mine and I would have to call them or reopen the ticket. I called LeanSpa to get information on the Cleanse and I was simply told that the product was shipped but they have no shipping information. I am still waiting to see if it arrives. I have reopened the support ticket. I do feel I am getting some kind of run-around, at this point. I came across this page today and have now become filled with fear that I am being, or going to be, scammed. I just called my bank and had my card cancelled and a new one will be sent to me so these people cannot get one more dime from me. I will not ever again attempt to use anything like this because I do not need the headache!

I ordered the Leanspa and read the agreement, and so after about 10 days I called to cancel. I was told I had to pay $19 and change, and I thought that was fair so I paid it. Never had my account charged after that; no problems. But I knew from past experience with other products that I had to be vigilant about reading the fine print, etc. It's just a shame no one's really even tried the product to report on its effectiveness or ineffectiveness..... I'd have loved to have read more information on the product's use and results others have had.....

Am I the only one with a headache and I feel too weak to go to the gym today. I also have NO appetite which is not a good thing. I used a prepaid card so if they try to bill me I don't care but my problem is with the actual product. I'm not expecting a miracle. I go to the gym on a regular basis and I eat extremely healthy. I thought this may improve my results. How can I loose weight without eating when your body needs calories to burn and protein to give you the energy to burn fat and without energy how can I workout. This is awful will not take another pill!!!

I spoke with customer service today & they told me that they never received my return & that I did not cancel my subscription. I canceled my subscription on Feb 28th & returned the bottles on March 7th. I have an email confirmation about canceling along with a delivery confirmation for the return. It says money back guarantee in 5 to 7 business days. This is false! Do not order this product!!! I am now out $249.00 for a product that I do not have!!!! I canceled my subscription because it was giving me headaches on a daily basis.

I too was a sucker for leanspa and thier idea of easy cancel cost me 19.41 and i was told i could keep the beauty products that i would be recieving, what bottle of vitamins. When trying to call to try to talk this over, all i get is they are experiencing a heavy volume of calls and i had the option to send e-mail, then a hang up. When i did , finally get a rep I was told he could not answer any of my questions, he was only a temp and knew nothing about this product. Are you kidding!! The only thing i was told was either call BBB or get a lawyer. I am so not a happy customer!! This is why a good diet and plenty of exercise is the only way to go!!!

I also read the channel 7 news report about the Leanspa acai and colon cleansing results. I clicked on the link to get me to the Leanspa site to order my free trial. I accidentally clicked to close the site and as I went back to cancel that request, I noticed that the shipping price went from $4.99 to $1.00. "Wow, cool!" I thought. I then went back to the channel 7 site to order the colon cleanser. That link also lead me to the site that offered a free sample but charged $4.99 shipping. I tried the same (closing out the site) and it worked. From $4.99 to $1.99. Tried again and it went to $1. I placed my order. After I read your comments I decided to call and cancel before they shipped. After two attempts and about 20 min of being on hold, i finally got my ordered canceled. Hopefully it only cost me $2 for a lesson well learned. Thank you all for taking the time to comment. Otherwise many others would get scammed. Although I haven't experienced the negative results yet, its not worth the gamble.

I ordered the Leanspa trial pack of both the diet pill & cleanse. The story of the 25lb loss sold me right off the bat. But unlike the replies I'm reading here, I DID see that you have 14days to call and cancel so you can avoid paying the $79.99 after your 30day trial. I emailed them, opened a ticket, and called. I managed to get someone after a 15min hold, but still, I was able to cancel through the phone. I have yet to try the pills yet, but at least I won't be getting charged after the 30days. Hopefully.

I too saw Channel 7 report which is also a lot of misinformation as the free trial was for 14 day supply not 30 day supply. To cancel the products , and pay no charge, you have to cancel before they are shipped. After reading these reviews, I went to cancel and the acai berry trail was already shipped . In order to "quick cancel", it would cost $19.41 for my free trial and I have to get a RMA# sent to my e-mail and put the RMA #on sides of pkg., pay shipping to return bottle even if empty and have confirmation of receipt. I also called my Credit Card Company to stop shipping charges for the Cleanse Trial which was not shipped yet . I was told by Leanspa rep., I did not have to pay the "quick cancel" charge for that because it was not sent. I instructed my credit card company to block all charges from Leanspa after the $19.41 "quick cancel" charge. Also received and saved E-mail from Leanspa stating they have canceled all future orders and billing for my account.

Its funny how people buy into all these weight loss supplements and miracle weight loss scams. I've been a personal trainer for over 20 years. The only way to loose weight aside from surgery is to eat healthy and exercise. If people took the time to read the fine print they would see that all these crappy ads will say somewhere in fine print "along with diet and exercise"!

I ordered LeanSpa on 1-19-11 and received one bottle on 1-27-11. This didn't leave much time to try the product during the 14-day free trial. By 1-31-11, I had actually gained 3 pounds and called to cancel. I tried for 3 days without being able to get through because the recording said they were experiencing "high call volume". Finally, I got a recording that stated to email support@leanspa.com if I had any questions, and I did on 2-2-11, to tell them I was sending the product back. As of 2-4-11, I have not received an answer to my email. Since I gained weight with taking this product for 4 days I decided it must be another weight-loss scam. Beware!!

After reading all of your comments I will NOT be buying these products. With my experience I should have known better. As my doctors and the media promotes losing weight and I had both knees replaced, I reached out to take a chance. What a mistake! First of all, my apetite increased, if anything, so I tried to cancel before the expiration date of the return. What a fiasco! For two days I tried to call the provided number for customer service, and was kept on the line, to wait for the next available representative, for two hours yesterday and one hour today and then the phone went dead. They had no intention of letting me to talk to someone. So I went on the line, also a hassle. The free trial cost over $4.00 shipping charges and now you have to return the empty bottle and pay more shipping charges. When you see the "free trial" claim run. I am 72 years old and should know better. Help the poor shnooks who don't have a computer. This is totally fraud and with all the laws and regulations the state of CT Attorney General should stop this scam. I called the credit company, and heard them laughing, saying they can't stop future charges.

Just to think I could have spent that money on a zumba dance dvds to get this body in shape..nothing like eating good and doing a little dance which would be fun, and natural. Leanspa can take their pills and their scams and put it where the sun don't shine!!! So.... anyone care to dance?!

I still wanted to see if it worked so I found another looser like myself who had been scammed royally and had several bottles + colon cleanser on EBAY he sold it to me for 12 bucks. I will give it a try with plenty of exercise and eating better and hope for the best, if it don't work (oh well) at least I was able to avoid a 79 dollar thanks to all of your comments and HEALTH HOUND!

I called and canceled the colon cleanse and had no problem. I have tried calling lean spa and never get anyone to pick up. It really makes you wonder when the initial greeting you get when calling is " If you would like to cancel your order press 1" why would any reputable company have this as their initial greeting? I am still trying to get a refund for the $79.00 shipment that I never received. This company needs to be stopped!

OMGosh.... I am appauled..... They got me too. I did fall for the Channel 7 or 6 or what ever news channel they had. When I went on to check for my shipment status, I couldnt find any information either. I Clicked onto some of the scam info about leanspa and then saw the same news information, except this time it was advertising for another Acai product and another Colon Cleanse Product.... The same exact wording and everything...This is just so wrong. I have not received my product yet, but I am going to do what I can to not have my account charged.... this is just wrong on so many levels!!!!!!!!

Re-entry...cancelled my 50 minute wait for someone to take my call, proceeded with cancelling my acct with lean spa and got an email confirmation of the cancellation within a couple of minutes. have tried to call back, but now that i have cancelled it says their customer service hours are mon-fri 8-5 mountain time. granted i had been on hold for 50 min just 5 minutes prior and i called last sat. also, i went to leanspa.com to view order status and putting in 2 of the 4 fields would not let me view my acct...said order or member not found. have submitted an email since it says they respond to emails 24 hrs 7 days each wk. not hopeful that i will get a reply or a refund but waiting to see what happens.

I just contacted my credit card to dispute the charges by LeanSpa. I ordered on 01-24-11, received the items on 02-04-11. The colon cleanse bottle was sealed, but empty. I have trying to contact them to cancel my order and of course I need the RMA#. Their phone keeps hanging up on me. I emailed them a dozen times and all I kept getting are emails that someone will be contacting me. The 14 days to return the items (empty bottles and all) is passed. I just hope that my credit card company can do something about this company. STAY AWAY FROM LEANSPA!

I ordered my trial Jan 15, received shipment Jan 22, and called that day to cancel, because I had no plans of continuing and paying 79.99 each month. The representative advised me that if I cancelled that soon in my trial, I would be charged the full amount or would be required to send the bottle back. So, she suggested that I call Jan 29, the last day of my trial, and if I chose to keep the remainder, I would only be billed about $19. Well, it is the 29th, and I just called...the recording informed me that my account had already been billed $79. Logged in to my bank acct, and the charge was submitted yesterday on the 28th. How convenient that I was told to call on the 29th and they sent it thru on the 28th. Jerks!!! I have been on hold now listening to this awful phone music for 43 minutes, and nobody has taken my call yet. I guess they are busy ripping off others. I will definitely call my bank to be sure that no additional charges will be debited from my account.

I've been shipped two packages and charged to my my account and every time I try to call to get the "RMA" the lines are busy and if you try to send an e:mail that address is bogus as well. I've decided to take this to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and I've sent them a registered letter stating that. If I call the number they say we are cancelled but we just received another package in the mail 1/27/11. I've been working to get a refund (now two) on my credit card since 1/4/11.

At first I was like wow, a reputable news story who tested it and I was stoked..annnnnd let down before I even started. Thanks guys

I ordered it 1/21/'11, and after reading all these reports from others who have done the same thing, I WILL call and tell them to CANCEL it NOW and see what happens. Its been 10 days since ordering it, giving me 4 days to "test" it?? I sure HOPE I have better luck at getting the cancel to go through before I get charged!! How can people do business like this? Isn't there ANY way to have this type of "slow mailing" stopped by BBB or anyone else? I too wish I had seen this BEFORE ordering. It doesnt say ANYWHERE what the cost is if I decide to keep the 90 caplets. I gather from all these postings that its over 80.00???? Keep your fingers crossed that I'm able to STOP all processing on this phoney junk.

I chose to just pay the 19.41 to not have to deal with shipping the product back. (mind you, I haven't received it yet so I don't know that I ever will). I also ordered the detox product and called to cancel with them today and had no problem! Let's hope my card doesn't get charged any extra....After the 19.41 shows up on my bill, I will contact my credit card company and stop any further payments to that company!!!

LeanSpa is a scam. They do charge your card in advance of your acceptance period. They are crude on the phone. You can tell when speaking to them that they are phony. The same goes for South Beach Java. I suspect they are the same operating group.

Yeah, fell for it too. Upon ordering, I had an inkling that it was too good to be true, but went through with it anyway in my desperation to lose weight. Soo, the bottle comes, finally, and within the 14 day 'trial period', I attempted to cancel my subscription(which, I didn't even know that I had agreed to in the first place), since they automatically charged my account $80, only to find that the number listed on the packing form was invalid. I then went to the website and hit the 'cancel' button. Again, seems a little too good to be true, that in hitting a button, this company that has already charged my account $80 without my consent, my subscription will suddenly be cancelled. I really just wish that I had done more research and that I had found this site before giving them my account info. Live and learn, I suppose.

This is a scam. I canceled on the 12th day after shipment, which was four days after receiving the product, and was charged the full $79 for cancellation. When I complained they offered to credit my account $45, which I thought seemed fair. Trouble was they only processed the charge NOT the credit. Don't use this product unless you are willing to pay an exhorbitant amount for the privilege!

Hello everyone! I just cancelled my subscription with LeanSpa and found this web site. I hope their "Cancel" button works. Though I was ready for all the charges people were complaining about just because I've spent some times reading fine font and I'm actually expecting another charge on my credit card as well because it was says that you have to cancel 14 prior to the next shipment and it's almost time. I can't blame them here. At least not right now. At some point it was not bad experience just because I have some good habits now like drinking more water (you have to drink a cup of water every time you take pills - 3 times a day 30 min before you take them), no sneaking to a fridge between meals (just to be able to take those pills 30 min before each meal and have a few hrs before you take them or it would counts as you are taking tem after meals).. but that's about it. Was taking them for 3 weeks without any results (I'm talking about my weight). I started get dizzy in 20-25 min after taking pills because I was so hungry so I'm happy do stop taking them! Another thing is about pleasure. I use to love having a cup of coffee just to enjoy it not for any other reasons (it doesn't make me awake). But look at the bottle. After doing some math you will see that without drinking any coffee at all you will be consuming same amount as 3 cups of coffee a day! It's not a very good thing. Not good at all. So now instead of taking the pills I just enjoy my 1 cup of coffee a day! Thank you for this web site! Now I plan to keep those few good habits I got over past 3 weeks and order this free "The Health Hound's Weight Loss Report".

BEWARE...NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. I ordered Lean Spa after reading a recommendation from a reporter at San Diego News 6. I ordered my trial supply on December 30th and was charged $2.99 for shipping. Today is January 11th, I still have not received the product BUT my cc was charged $79.99! When I called the company (after 6 tries) Jenny, my "account specialist" told me my free trial time was over and the shipment was confirmed delivered to my P.O. Box yesterday the 10th ( I haven't picked up mail today and it wasn't there yesterday noon). So, here is the biggest issue...I never received my trial period, my card was charged without my consent and my only options were to return it unopened at my own expense or keep it for a charge of $45. She acknowledged the fact that I did not receive the trial, the charge was to be after 14 days which by the way it's only been 12 days and she REFUSED to make it right by allowing me to use the product for the promised trial period. After reading the other comments I am happy to say I reported them to my cc company and disputed the charges and will be sending the product back today and paying the shipping. Shame on a trusted site to recommend this product, total scam! Who polices these guys anyway?

Yep, Bad Company, its simply a fraud, I also orderd a sample based on the fake story of Channel six news, I don't believe there is any body know about this but they never sent me a sample and charge me around $83.00 altogather and since the product probably even not worth putting in your mouth , they right away agree to give me $45.00 credit. so instead of paying $2.95 for a sample I got charged almost $83.00. I would not use that thing even if they gave it to me for free, they starting it with a fraud God knows what is in the product Powder of rice?

They billed me for $4.95 for the introductory shipment on 11/10 and then on 1e 1/25 billed me a full $79.99 for the bottle that was supposed to be introductory. Total SCAM... I fell for it Dec 26th. They took $4.95 out on my debit card acct. same day. 27th they put it back. I was getting into my acct. 28th and a pop up from my bank said do not get into your acct. Someone is in your acct. I waited 15 minutes then got into my acct and leanspa had taken the $4.95 out again. I keep very little money in that account because I use it for my on line shopping. If I would of had $79.99 in the account leanspa would have taken it. I went through the 14 day return and councel of my membership and was told the "keep it and we will take $19.99 out of your account and you will not have to mail it back to us. I closed out my account at the bank so they do not have access to it because you can bet they will continue trying to take money out of my account. Don't take a chance with this weight loss deal. But I purchased it and I am happy with it, I have lost weight and gone back to the size I was before I was pregnant which was over a year ago, and it took me less then a month. It got to Wallingford Ct and got stuck. After speaking with that plant staff today I hear from the Claims and Inquiry Dept. that they SEND BOTTLE AFTER BOTTLE BACK TO LEANSPAS EVERY MONTH.........LAST MONTH THEY SENT THEM 6-8 BOTTLES THAT CAME OUT OF THE PACKAGING SOMEHOW. I emailed Leanspa.......no one signs a name to emails.........and they will not refund my money unless Wallingford plant can verify that MY bottle was returned to them. There must be a way for us to do a class action law suit to shut this place down. Please email me at retirednutnurse at hotmail if you have been scammed by Leanspa. Let's join forces to stop them. Now after all this time trying to find my lost package..... they refuse to refund my $79.99........again, I was duped with the trial offer...........please email me and let's do something as a group. I have no idea if the pill would have worked or not, but the company's reputation is too risky for me. All I can say is thank goodness for the folks from VISA, because as of right now they have been able to stop the initial trail period payment and (hopefully) any subsequent payment to this less than reputable company. Note: as soon as I reported the initial charge – VISA already knew what company I was calling about – so the GOOD word about a BAD company is getting OUT.

I too was scammed by LeanSpa and I am waiting for my credit card company to get my $79.99 back. I signed up for the “free” 2 week trial on 12/20, received it 12/28 and was charged for the next month’s worth on 12/30. I cancelled before the two weeks was up then realized I had been charged for the next month’s worth. When I called LeanSpa, the poor customer service representative gave me the run around they are required to give about how I can mail it back for a full refund or they could give me a $45 refund because they charged me before the two weeks were up. I said I should not have to pay to mail it back because I fulfilled my end and I was given the two choices again. Called my credit card company and disputed it…. waiting to see if this settles it. They recommended I mail any product back, but that was not part of the deal and I’ve already wasted $4.95 on shipping!!! I also never got the “free pedometer” or the “Quick Detox.” I just want my $79.99 back and to be done with LeanSpa. The package also reads, “These statements have NOT been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.” Please research this product before buying it and take everyone’s comments to heart… LeanSpa is a scam.

You try it for 14 days, don't like it, and call to return it. But you see, if you've OPENED THE BOTTLE, you cannot return it! How do you try a product without opening the bottle? If not the product, what are you trying for 14 days???

I can't believe the scam these people are running. Was planning to cancel when it hadn't arrived 10 days after order was placed and found out that they had already charged my card the $79.99. 14 day trial period.... Yeah Right! I called and got a Very Rude customer service "manager" who said there must've been a mistake with the early billing and to get the refund I had to ship the bottle back. I shipped it back the same day I got it (3 days before the trial period was even up), so if they charge my card again or if I don't get the refund I am going to be one very mad momma! I had also ordered Fibra Detox at the same time and when I called them to cancel (didn't want to get charged again for something I couldn't try)... Thanks so much to all those who shared their negative experiences regarding the LeanSpa/Colon Cleanse scam. Absent your advise, I would have fallen for this phony offer.

This is horrible. I haven't received the product yet, but learned (even before I discovered this website) that it was a scam. My resolution to the monetary matter was to report my credit card compromised so no further charges can be made to my card. Of course this also requires a waiting period for a new card. But I'll take the wait over these scam artists taking my money without my authorization.

Ive had a stroke, and doctor said not to use this product. tried to call the number but got the "phoney " we couldn't find your number in our system, please enter the number you used to order. of couse any number you enter won't be found and you can't talk with anyone, cuz they give you office hours, which should be the same as your calling now! quite a scam!

I know I did a boo boo when I ordered this stuff (LeanSpa). I took it for 2-3 weeks. I did not have a decreased appetite I ate constantly, my engergy level dropped and dropped. I have been sick with gi symptoms, headaches, muscle aches, etc ever since and I just took it for 2-3 weeks, so I just stopped taking it. So many things were happening, family etc, and I did not send it back. I misunderstood that I would keep getting charged. I have been charged $79.99 twice and have not received anymore bottles (not that I wanted any) but I have not been able to get ahold of anyone to cancel the order. The phone number that comes with the bank withdrawal does not take incoming calls. Imagine that. They may have got me for the first $79.99 but as soon as that bottle arives it will go back and they better refund my money. Just call me "dumb dumb"

This is totally a scam. First, they automatically charge your credit card for monthly supply if you have not returned your product for after 14 days. Second, the company only accepts return for most recent purchase. Meaning, even though you have not open the bottle and try, they will not accept any return. And you have to return really quick; otherwise, they will ship you another shipment and you cannot return the previous one. Here is what happened to me. I did not realize the company has been charging my credit card, until today that I received an email for the shipment the company sent and charged on my credit card. It was the second time the company charged my credit card automatically. I did not notice the company has been charging me for past two months. I still have the first product at home and I have not even opened it yet, so I talked to the sale representative and he told me old me that they will only accept the return for the order they just shipped to me, but it is the company policy that it cannot accept any prior return even though "YOU HAVE NOT OPEN THE BOX".

LEAN AWAY FROM LEANSPA; DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE THEY'RE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. Wow; wish I had come across these comments about LeanSpa before I ordered the crap. Besides being taken for the so called; 'you pay shipping only charge, the 'NOT REALLY 14 day trial' period, the sneak attack charge of $79.99 to my credit card, and the lying SOBs at LeanSpas customer service-LESS when I called to dispute this whole thing, unfortunatley I've join the ranks of the dissatisfied customers who found out about this sham a bit too late.

FYI, I went to Web MD's website to look up each individual ingredient, and one is 5-Hydroxytryptophan, which Web MD says, "Don’t use 5-HTP until more is known. 5-HTP might be UNSAFE." The site goes on to explain that it may cause muscle tenderness and blood abnormalities. Enough said! This will be returned before the weekend is up. I have minor discomfort in my spinal area, but it doesn't last very long so I'm hoping it'll pass.

I ordered this item on Dec. 4 and didn't receive it until Dec. 14. They definitely do not give you the 14-day trial to decide. I had until tonight to decide whether I wanted to pay the onetime rate of $19.41. If not, then I have to ship the dietary supplements back but get to keep the detox pills (14 total) and the pedometer. The fineprint does state that if you cancel within 14 days then you won't be charged the $79.99 purchase fee and automatic enrollment. I did indeed call, but honestly, 10 days into a 14-day trial doesn't really give you much time to decide. I'm shipping the order back. I've tried it for three days, and I end up with a sore spine. The back of the bottle says, "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration." That's the kind of stuff that makes me go, "What are you hiding? If the product is so great, the FDA should be your best co-signer."

I ordered what I thought was a 30 day free trial of Colotrim & Acai Berry tablets for weight loss. I was to only pay the shipping of $2.95. I just rec'd my bank statement & 5 days later was charged $118.75 by the same company. I called and spoke with Louis. He advised me when I ordered the 30 day free trial a membership to their "online weight loss center" was also included. This program only had a 3 day trial. It took me so long to wade through the website to place the order, I didn't see the fine print @ the bottom left side of the page where you enter your credit card information. I was told my $118.75 would not be refunded, even though I was never aware of this program or accessed their website again. The above mentioned products made me my 2 family members sick.

ITS A SCAM!!!!! Not free at all. You will get to try it for maybe 2 days as it takes forever to get the product. Then when you call to cancel they give you an option to pay 20 bucks and keep the product (yeah the free one) or send it back. When you try to get more options they charge your card 20 buck no matter what option you choose. I had to call my bank and have them help me as leanspa would not help at all. You are crazy to order this product.

lean spa is a real joke. Please save your time and money!! They tell you that it is a free trial which cost little to ship but it costs you a lot more. You have 14 days to cancel before you are charged regular price but its 8 to 10 days before you receive your order. Then you are told that for $20.00 you can keep your order, keeping in mind that your 30 day trial order is free. Or return unused amount undamaged and pay more shipping and handling and still get charged. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!

This is a scam ! BUYER BEWARE! SO IS FIBRA DETOX! They are worse! $80.00 a month for crap, auto-shipping & no monthly charges are in terms & conditions. LIES! Fibra detox hangs the phone up on you & refuses returns & laughs at your stupidity. The others won't budge either. Possibly 2 scammers working together selling garbage. Don't fall for it!

Not only is it a scam but trying to cancel the FREE TRIAL before they charge you even more is a joke. You can't get them on the phone because so many people are trying at the same time to get out of it too. The web help just goes in circles and you get a RMA number but on a FREE TRIAL no risk you shouldn't have to do anything except try it and if it works then YOU contact them and buy more. What a joke. Oh and it gave me a headache as well.

First of all its not free. If you don't call them within 15 days of order date. they will bill you. I m sure that it will be a healthy bill. I dont feel good after reading your article. Im calling today to cancel and then you are getting an rma that you have to pay to send the balance of the pills back. I'm sure that they want you to pay for shipping back and what do they do with the pills you send back put in another bottle and ship out again? Triple T

This product sucks nothing it claims is true. I wish like Joe I had seen this website before. Learned my lesson and why aren't they responisible for a full refund they only let you try it for a week because it takes a week to get to you and then it doesn't even work oh well a mistake I won't make anymore.

I just wish I would have found this website before I placed my order. I didn't read the fine print either and now I'm stuck for multiple shipments. Stay away from this Leanspa and any other company that they change their name to; Colon Cleanse; Detox, etc.

so, I too placed a trial order that i tried to cancel but was not able to get a hold of the company; when I tried to log onto the website that I placed the order from the name changed to "Leanspa"! So when I called this new number of course they don't recognize my # associated to the account for Leanspa because I didnt order Leanspa, I ordered Diet max so they changed their name! My credit card has now been debited 3 times and I've never received new product and don't want too. I called my credit card company to dispute and they are in the process of crediting my account and conducting an investigation. I will NEVER do one of these "trial" offers again as they are SCAMS that are difficult to get out of. Pass the word!

I wasn't too hopeful, but I thought I would give it a try for free. I sent the bottle back at 15 days, didn't receive another bottle in the mail after a month, but still got charged $80.00. I'm trying to dispute it, but dont' know how much success I will have.

I was duped by Leanspa and Naturecleansing. Lead to believe that free WAS free. Instead the two pages of fine print said they could bill me $79.99 and Naturecleansing could bill me another $78.98. I have cancelled, but will now have to fight for my money. I will report this to the BBB and the Attorney General of my state. Hopefully others will do the same.

I cancelled this the same day as I ordered it because I didnot realize that I was siging up for monthly shippings. Plus you are supposed to get a free bottle and only pau shipping. They sent me this and billed me $80.00. When i called and told them I had cancelled they said they would refund 45.00. This company is a total sham. You can't even get out of their website once you are in it. Please warn others.
